Wedding Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse

I DJed the wedding of Matt and Reagan at Key Largo Lighthouse on Saturday, October 19, 2024. It was one of the most fun weddings I have ever done. It was a breezy October day with no rain and partly cloudy. I played tropical steel drum and guitar covers of popular love songs from Bob Marley, Ed Sheeran and the Eagles as the guests took their seats. The bridal party began down the aisle as I played A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. The song ended exactly as the flower girls made it up the aisle. Next, Reagan and her father walked down the aisle to the Brian Catuccio cover of "I Get to Love You". Again, the song was perfectly timed and ended when Reagan and her father made it to the end of the aisle. Matt and Reagan said their vows and the guests cheered as I played "This Will Be" by Natalie Cole. Matt dipped Reagan and gave her a kiss as they walked up the path as husband and wife!

Next the guests walked over to the tiki bar and I played house remixes, love songs, classics and tropical music during cocktail hour. Matt and Reagan and the bridal party took sunset photos as guests enjoyed conversation, food and drinks. The flower girls and other children were dancing and enjoying the music! Next I invited the guests under the tent for dinner. The Best Man and Maid of Honor toasted Matt and Reagan and Matt thanked the guests. Next, Matt and Reagan cut the cake as I played Dressed Up in White by Cal. Next I called everyone over to the dancefloor to circle up for intros and special dances! I introduced the bridal party and Mr and Mrs Gale to the Post Malone version of Return of the Mack! The bridesmaids and groomsmen had drinks and all did something special as they entered! Next, Matt and Reagan danced to Perfect for Me by Bradley Marshall. After that Reagan danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland and Matt danced with his mom to I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack. 

After that we danced the night away! The requests were perfect all night long! I played Chatahoochie, Cotton Eye Joe, Cha Cha Slide. Reagan's gramma requested Billie Jean and danced hear heart out. Reagan's grandad took the mic and sang a song called Musta Got Lost. The guests cheered him! I played It Takes Two, Don't Stop The Party, Party Rock Anthem, No Hands, I played a song called Since You Been Gone for the little flower girl as she danced, I played the 50 Cent mashup of Bee Gees Stayin Alive and wished Reagan's Gramma a Happy Birthday. I played FE!N, the Wobble, Baby Got Back, Low, Hotel Room Service, Ol Town Road, Fancy Like, Shots and Sweet Caroline. The guests danced and made requests all night. I slowed it down with Unchained Melody, Wonderful Tonight, and Still the One. The night ended with Mr Brightside, Shut Up and Dance and We Found Love while the guests circled around Matt and Reagan.

As I said this was one of the most fun groups of people I've DJed for and I wish Matt and Reagan the very best life together!
