Wedding Reception at the Key Largo Lighthouse

Sara and Ken Smith celebrated their wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse West Beach in Key Largo, FL on 11/19/2024.  Approximately 17 close friends and family members arrived to the lighthouse and were directed to the beach-side ceremony overlooking the Gulf.  The cocktail hour took place at the tiki bar immediately after the ceremony.  Most guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizer while they posed for pictures.  The 5 member bridal party had a grand entrance to Raise Your Glass by Pink then Sara and Ken entered to Let's Get It Started by The B.E.P.s.  The first dance was to Whatever It Is by Zac Brown Band then Sara danced with her dad to Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle.  Everyone sat down for a buffet style dinner and that is also when a few family members gave toasts and speeches.  Sara provided me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, 80s and 90s hits and country.  After dinner the dance floor opened up and some danced but most enjoyed the pool.  The cake cutting was performed as the evening progressed and I did take several requests from the guests.  The last song for the evening was Closing Time by SemiSonic and that bought this family wedding to a close.
