Wedding Bloggers,
Today I have the honor of telling you about the Wedding Ceremony and Reception of Greg and Kate.
They were married at the beautiful Flamingo Gardens in Davie and the reception was at the Lago Mar Country Club in Plantation.
As the guests arrived to the ceremony, they were greeted by the beautiful wildlife at the Gardens. There were many peacocks there and they were in their full glory!
I played "Just the Way You Are" by the Piano Guys for the bridal party processional and then Kate walked down the aisle to "1000 Years" by the Piano Guys.
The ceremony was very traditional with the kiss at the end to seal the deal...
Then everybody went to the Lago Mar Country Club for the reception.
After Cocktail hour, I invited the guests in with some funky Jazz playing in the background, per their request.
For The Grand Entrance, I played "We will Rock You" By Queen and then I played "I'm a Believer" by Smash Mouth for Kate and Greg. The crowd went crazy!
After that I played, "1000 Years" by Christine Perri as the 1st dance.
The Father Daughter dance was "Butterfly Kisses" and then I sat everyone down for dinner.
I was asked to keep the music light and standard for this time.
Frank Sinatra, some Motown, Marvin Gaye, even some old school 70's music!
After dinner, we really heated things up. Even though Greg and Kate were only in their 20's they were old souls... They loved the old school sounds and I played a lot of classics. 70;s disco, 80's rock, and of course a lot of the top 40 songs of today.
The cake and garter bouquet toss were very funny. I played "All you need is love" for the cake, and then the Garter/bouquet. For that I played "I feel like a Woman" and "Sharp Dressed Man"
After that we danced the rest of the night away.
It was a fun time with a great crowd!
