Wedding Reception at the Lauderdale Yacht Club

On Saturday, June 11th I was at the Lauderdale Yacht Club playing for Megan & Owen Bailey and 160 family members and friends. The evening started with a cocktail reception with music by Guitarist Rick Barone from Eddie B & Company. Then the party started with an introduction of the bridal party to Bring Em' Out by T.I., followed by Megan & Owen making their grand entrance to "Run This Town" by Jay Z. Their first dance was to Angel/Better Together by Jack Johnson and later Megan danced with her father Paul to "Danny's Song" by Loggins & Messina, and Owen danced with his mother Maria to "Chicken Fried". They did a dance routine that brought the house down and set the tone for the evening! This group dance for a solid 2.5 hours non stop! Later the cake was cut to "Opposites In Love" by The Speedbumps and Owen remove the garter to "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)", while Megan tossed her bouquet to "22" by Taylor Swift. I played a variety of music from the 60's to the present day and we ended the evening with "Die A Happy Man" by Thomas Rhett. Then they were off to Belize with a sparkler send off!
