Wedding Reception at the Levan Catering Hall

Jenn and Francois Truong celebrated their wedding at the Levan Banquet Hall in Hollywood FL. on 7/25/2015.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the guests were invited to the Levan for the cocktail hour and reception.  As the 250 invited guests entered the hall they were treated with drinks, appetizers and a mix of easy listening/jazz favorites.  Before the guests arrived I decorated the ballroom with a monogram/gobo of the happy couples initials on the wall right above the sweetheart table.  After the cocktail hour, all of the guests found their seats and I lined up the 26 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  The parents entered to We Are Family by Sister Sledge, all of the 7 couples in the bridal party entered to a different song and Jen and Francois entered to Watch Me by Silento.  The first dance was sung by Rochelle (maid of honor), the song was How Long Will I Love You by Ellie Goulding.  Jen dance with her dad to Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle and Francois danced with his mom to A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men.  The toasts were given by Rochelle (maid of honor), Ron and Ludovic (best men) and Paul (groomsman).

Soon after the toasts, everyone found their seats for an 8 course family style Vietnamese dinner.   Jenn did provide me with a play list that included top 40, EDM, classic 80's and 90's hip-hop and dance hits.  This was one of those weddings were the food just kept coming and the dancing never stopped.  It was amazing to see all of the guests eat and dance almost simultaneously!  That's the way Jenn and Francois dreamed that their wedding reception would be like and that's why they chose Eddie B & Company as the entertainment.  I saw a few familiar faces from past weddings that I worked and it is possible that we might get a few more weddings out of this one.  I love how that works!!  The cake cutting and garter/bouquet toss were performed as the night progressed but the real action was on the dance floor.  As this great wedding came to a close I played Glad You Came by The Wanted as all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor with the happy couple to wish them luck on their honeymoon.  Congrats to Jenn, Francois and the entire Truong, Lam and Tran families.  Special thanks to the staff at the Levan for their attention to detail and for their special decor lighting at the venue.
