Wedding & Reception at the Living Sculpture Sanctuary
Amanda and Austin Jackson celebrated their wedding at the Living Sculpture Sanctuary in Davie, FL on 1/12/2020. Approximately 130 close friends and family members arrived to the sanctuary that Sunday early evening and were directed to the ceremony area. Immediately after the ceremony all of the guests were invited to the cocktail hour where I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Myself and Chris also took the time to decorate the reception area with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the reception area I lined up the 32 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Amanda chose Crazy In Love by Beyonce for the bridal party intros and Miss Jackson by Panic at the Disco for her and Austin's intro. The first dance was to Smile by Uncle Kracker then Amanda danced with her dad to Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle and with her step-dad to Daughters by John Mayer. Austin then danced with her mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts then everyone found their seats and prepared for a buffet style dinner. The toasts were given by Brittany (maid of honor) and Ian (best man) then Amanda's mom gave the blessing before the meals. Amanda did provide me with a nice play list that included top 40, country, 80s and 90s hits and oldies. The dance floor filled up very quickly after dinner and the dancing continued all night. They did take a quick break for the cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss but the dance floor was the place to be. The photo booth was also in high demand that evening and as all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor I played Closing Time by SemiSonic to put a bow on this fun Sunday night wedding. Congrats to Amanda, Austin and the entire Jackson, Lucas and Phipps families.
