Amanda and Ignacio Vicente celebrated their wedding at the Living Sculpture Sanctuary in Davie, FL on 3/5/2020. The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximate 70 guests were invited to the Sanctuary for the cocktail hour and reception. I played a mix of tropical tunes at the cocktail hour. While everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers I set up my DJ booth and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. I then lined up the 12 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Amanda chose Que Color by J Balvin for the bridal party intros and Baila Conmigo by Dayvi for her and Ignacio's intro. The first dance was to Te Amo by Franco Marin then Amanda danced with her dad to Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle and Ignasio danced with his mom to Que Bonito by Rosario Flores. All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a buffet style dinner. During dinner Diana (maid of honor) and Diego (best man) gave the toasts and the blessing of the meals. The dance floor opened up after dinner and boy did they enjoy the mix. Amanda provided me with a play list that included top 40, EDM, latin favorites and 90s dance hits. The only break they took was for the cake cutting ceremony (no garter/bouquet toss. The closing song was No Hay Cama Pa Tanta Gente by El Gran Combo and that put a bow on a nice Thursday night wedding. Congrats to Amanda, Ignacio and the entire Vicente, Paez and Marin families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Sanctuary for always providing excellent service.
