Wedding Reception at The Loft / Miami

On Saturday, February 8th I was in Miami at the Loft on Bayshore for the wedding ceremony and reception of Evan and Leticia. The ceremony took place outside in the garden with a beautiful oak tree as their backdrop. Cocktail hour was inside, in a separate area just outside the main ballroom. The reception room was brought to life by amber LED up lighting, provided by Eddie B & Company. When it was time for introductions I invited everyone to stand as we welcomed Mr. and Mrs. Henderson to Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince by Taylor Swift which led into their first dance as husband and wife to You’re Still the One by Laurel Wood. Leticia then danced with her father to Amigo de Todas Horas by Bruan Karla before Evan waltzed with his mother to A Song for Mama by Travis Atreo. During dinner, I played some bossa nova and love songs while the guests enjoyed their meal. The rest of the night was a party with a fusion of 00s dance music, dembow, and Brazilian party favorites for all the guests to enjoy. Once the guests were on the floor they did not want to leave.
