Dianela and Vincent Shallal celebrated their fabulous wedding at the Harbor Beach Marriott in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 1/19/2024. This wedding had it all!!! The ceremony was held at a nearby church then all of the 190 guests were invited to the Marriott for the cocktail hour and reception (all outdoors). I played a mix of smooth jazz while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour. Dianela and Vincent posed for pictures with immediate family members until it was time for the grand entrance. Dianela and Vincent chose Zeffa (traditional Bollywood style music) for the grand entrance of the bridal party and themselves. Traditionally the first half hour is spent on the dance floor dancing to the traditional songs, then they all found their seats for the dinner service. I played a mix of latin and easy listening favorites while they all enjoyed a 4 course meal. There were no toasts but Father Matthew did give the blessing of the meals. After dinner the dance floor erupted as all of the guests rushed to get a chance to enjoy the tunes. I played a mix of top 40, latin favorites, more traditional songs and a few line dances. Perfect mix of genres for this amazing group of guests. There was no garter/bouquet toss but they did take the time to cut their beautiful wedding cake. The dancing continued as the evening progressed then I played another traditional song called Bye Bye as everyone gathered on the dance floor for the last dance. PRICELESS!!!
Congrats to Dianela, Vincent and the entire Shallal and Olivera families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Marriott for always providing excellent service.
