Wedding Reception at the Marriott Harbour Beach

DJ Gregg here with this weeks installment of the Wedding Blog.

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Matt and Stacy.

The reception was held at the Harbour Beach Marriott in Ft. Lauderdale.

It is a great location and a wonderful staff to help!

As the guests arrived from the beach side ceremony, I played some cool South Beach Tunes.

The room was decorated beautifully and lit with Pink uplights provided by Eddie B & Company.

This was a very intimate crowd. Only 35 people and they all came in from out of town for the party! From Alabama to across the USA. 

The bride and Groom entered to "Sweet Home Alabama" by Skynard. Then I played "Halo by Beyonce' as the first dance.

Shortly after that I invited the parents of Matt and Stacy to say a few words. Then I opened the mic for guests. There were quite a few people who got up and toasted the bride and groom.

Dinner was served shortly after the blessing was administered. During that time, I kept it kind of light. Playing some of the slower requests that were given to me.

After dinner, I invited Dad to dance with Stacy. "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts was used. Then Matt danced with his mom. They chose "Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler.

Shortly after that the party started back up again and we danced the rest of the night!

A great party indeed.
