Wedding Reception at the Marriott Hotel / Boca Raton

On Sunday, May 28th I was in Boca Raton at the Marriott for the wedding ceremony and reception of Lauren and Adam. The ceremony took place shortly after 4:00pm in the reception room which was later converted for dinner and dancing. The groom along with his groomsmen and the bridal party walked to the altar to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri, followed by the bride who walked down the aisle to Can’t Help Falling in Love by Piano Guys. Once the two were pronounced husband and wife, the new Mr. and Mrs. Sonntag celebrated to Can’t Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake. The reception was held in the same room surrounded by windows. When it was time for introductions I invited everyone to stand as we welcomed Mr. and Mrs. Sonntag to Finesse by Bruno Mars. The couple then embraced each other for their first dance to You by Dan & Shay. During dinner, I played some soft pop and 80s while the guests enjoyed their meal. We opened the dance floor with a dedication to the groom’s father that turned into one big group hug around the newlyweds. The rest of the night was a party with an eclectic mix of 70s, 80s, hip hop, and other party favorites for all the guests to enjoy. Once the guests were on the floor they did not want to leave.
