Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with this weeks installment of the wedding blog.
On Saturday I had the pleasure of hosting the wedding reception for Michael and Jessic
It was held at the Marriott Delray Beach.
All of the guests went to the hall for drinks and refreshments. I played some "South Beach" tunes.
The main dining room was almost prepared. It looked great! The LED wireless Royal Blue up lights provided by Eddie B. & Company really set the room off nicely.
As the guests walked in I played some cool house music, to start a party mood.
The grand entrance of the bridal party arrived. I played "Can't Stop the Feeling" by Justin Timberlake. Then Michael and Jessica were introduced. I was requested to use "Best Day of My life" by The American Authors. The place went crazy! I then proceeded to play their first dance."Everything To Me" by Brad Paisley.
I then played the father daughter dance "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw. After that, I played "Simple Man" by Lynard Skynard for Michael and his mom. Very touching!!
The toasts followed shortly afterwards. They were said by the Maid of Honor Theresa and Best Man Derek.
Then Jessica's dad gave a few words of encouragement to the bride and groom. Then dinner was served.
I played some light rock, standards, and smooth jazz.
After dinner I picked up the pace. I started off with a slow tune and immediately went into dancing! I was able to play music from all genres and styles.
The Cake cutting was done without any fanfare per request of the bride and groom. I then went back into dancing music. They family especially liked country, so I kept it there quite a bit.
The garter and bouquet toss proceeded a little bit later. It was fun to see them fight over it!
Then, back to party music. I finished the night with the dance floor packed...
It was a lot of fun!!
