On Saturday January 4th, 2014 I had the pleasure of playing for Deneen and Daniel Appelblatt and 150 family members and friends. We started the evening with a cocktail hour in the atrium with guests enjoying appetizers and drinks while listening to a mix of adult contemporary tunes. Then the PARTY started with an introduction of the bridal party to Party Rock Anthem, and I must say these people were pumped! Then our newlyweds made their entrance to "Diamonds" by Rihanna. The room was decorated with white panels of cloth hanging from the ceiling accented by lavender and fuchsia lighting. We also provided our "Zap Shot Photo Service" displayed on 2 rear projected screens, showing scenes from the cocktail reception and continuing on through out the entire evening. This was a HUGE hit with the guests. We also showed a photo montage of Deneen and Daniel growing up during the parents dances. The first dance was "Nothing Without You" by Phil Vassar, and the father/daughter dance was to "Daddy's Little Girl" by Al Martino, followed by the mother/son dance "First Lady of My Life" by Paul Todd. The garter ceremony was unique and different since Daniel is a firefighter/paramedic. He and his father and one of the groomsmen went outside the ballroom and dressed up in their bunker gear. Deneen is sitting in the middle of the dance floor with guests all around her, and then the doors opened and I provided a sound effect of a siren going off while "Fire" by the Ohio Players was playing......simply MARVELOUS! Then Deneen tossed her bouquet to "Single Ladies". The mix of music was Top 40 dance, Italian Classics, Retro 80's and I even mixed in a Hora & Tarentella! The cake was cut to "This Will Be" by Natalie Cole, and the final song was "Friends In Low Places". Eddie B & Company also provided a photo booth which went over super big! I want to say Thank you to Deneen & Daniel for making me a part of this celebration.....It was First Class all the way! DJ/MC Eddie B!
