Wedding Reception at the Marriott Hotel / Hollywood Beach

Allison and Kristoffer Hickey celebrated their wedding at the Hollywood Beach Marriott in Hollywood, FL on 11/10/2017.  The ceremony took place at a near by church then all of the approximate 110 guests were invited to the Marriott for the cocktail hour and reception.  I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites at the cocktail hour as all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 orange colored, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and our signature "Strike A Pose" photo booth all provided by Eddie B and Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 25 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Allison chose Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars for the bridal party intros and Dynomite by Taio Cruz for her and Kristoffer's intros.  The first dance was to Amazed by Lonestar then Allison danced with her brother Jerry to Lean On Me by Bill Withers then Kristoffer danced with his mom to Never Alone by Lady Antebellum.  The toasts were given by Bri and Alexa (Maids of honor), Brian (best man) and Allison's brother Jerry.  Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal and the reception was under way.  Allison provided me with a short play list and asked me to take care of the rest.  I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, 80s and 90s dance hits and country.  A perfect mix of genres for these fun/energy filled guests.  As the night progressed we did have a cake cutting ceremony along with the garter/bouquet toss.  While all of the guests gathered in the lobby for a glow stick send-off I played the closing song which was I've Had The Time Of My Life from the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack.  Congrats to Allison, Kristoffer and the entire Hickey and Morgan families.
