On Sunday evening November 17th, 2013 at the Marriott Hotel in West Palm Beach is where the reception was held
to celebrate with Michael and Toni with 100 friends and family.
This was
an Orthodox Jewish celebration where as soon as I introduced the bride and
groom, they joined all there friends in a celebration dance that lasted 25
minutes with the woman one side and the men on the other.
The blessing over
the bread took place and then a few toasts.
Dinner was served as I was
asked to play songs that were done by male artists only. I played some Frankie,
Dean, Nat Cole and many artists or instrumentals that were comprised by men
only.
Then they proceeded to do more prayers and toasts and then the cake
cutting by James Taylor, How Sweet it is...then the dancing time began. The list
provided was long. Blurred Lines, LMFAO, Shout by Otis, Mony Mony by Billy Idol
and many more dance songs that the bride and groom danced with all there
friends.
The bride and groom approached me at the end of the night and
thanked me for working with them on the timeline which included many prayers
with the Rabbi and friends.
Off to Phoenix and Hawaii on there honeymoon
and another great event from yours truly, DJ Marc Evans.
