Saturday, February 6th, 2016 - The Maxwell Room - Hurst Wedding Reception
On Saturday, February 6th, 2016, I had the honor of DJing/MCing the Wedding Reception for Kyle and Toni Hurst. As guests arrived, I played a mixture of cocktail hits to the likes of Sinatra and mixed in some mellow hits from the 90s through today. For the introductions, I played You Make My Dreams Come True, by Hall & Oates as requested by Kyle and Toni. For the first dance, I played Crazy Love, by Van Morrison. For the Father Daughter dance I played, I Loved Her First by Heartland. And for the Mother Son dance I played, Man You’ve Become, by Molly Pasutti. For dinner service I continued to play a similar variety to the cocktail hour, but ramped things up to some dance friendly 80s, 90s, through today. The guests were quick to their feet and the dance floor was packed for the rest of the evening. For the cake cutting, I played Sugar Sugar by The Archies. As the evening concluded, I lined everyone up for a beautiful sparkler send off. Congrats to Kyle and Toni and thank you to the staff of the amazing Maxwell Room for hosting the event. DJ/MC Eric
