Wedding Reception at the Maxwell Room

                    Stephenie and Evan celebrated their dream wedding at the Historic Maxwell Room in Fort Lauderdale on 01/13/2024. Approximately 80 close friends and family members arrived and were directed to the courtyard for the ceremony. Audio provided by Eddie B & Company. The cocktail hour took place inside the venue. As all of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers I played a cool mix of oldies but goodies and today's pop hits. Stephenie and Evan chose Crazy in Love by Beyonce. for their intro. The first dance was Nervous by John Legend. Then Stephenie danced with her Father to My Girl by the Temptations, followed by the Mother-son dance which was danced to You'll be in my heart by Phil Collins. The toasts were given by Stephenie's Mom and Evans Dad.  Everyone found their seats and prepared for the serving station to open . I played a mix of top 40, 90s classic dance hits, classic rock and latin favorites.  What a fun group of guests! It truly was a pleasure to play for them that evening. As the evening progressed we had the Cake Cutting Ceremony listening to L.O.V.E by Natking cole. We also did the garter and bouquet toss which everyone enjoyed. The closing song for the evening was a bittersweet symphony by the verve, the gathered guests celebrated on the dance floor with Kathrine and Chris joyously for their final send-off.  Perfect ending to the perfect wedding.  Congrats to Stephenie and Evan.
