Wedding Reception at the Maxwell Room

Tauni and Dan Richardson celebrated their wedding at the Historic Maxwell Room in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 9/16/2017.  The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all held indoors.  Tauni and Dan tied the knot right on the dance floor in front of 100 close friends and family members.  The applause and cheers after they made it official was impressive.  Everyone was so happy to see these two finally seal their love with a big kiss.  After the cocktail hour the happy couple had their first dance to Can I Walk With You by Indie Irie and asked that everyone join them on the dance floor.  There were no parents dances or garter/bouquet toss but we did have an anniversary dance and a beautiful cake cutting ceremony.  After dinner the dance floor opened up and it was an all out party until the end.  Tauni and Dan asked me to play to their guests and to have fun.  I played a mix of top 40, country, disco, oldies and Motown.  Perfect mix of genres for this very fun group.  The closing song songs for the evening were Last Dance by Donna Summer and New York, New York by Frank Sinatra (my all time favorite).  Congrats to Tauni, Dan and the entire Richardson and Miller families.
