Wedding Reception at the Maxwell Room

Jacqueline and Kevin Sodek celebrated their wedding at the Historic Maxwell Room in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 7/16/2022.  The ceremony took place on the dance floor then all of the 50 guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour.  That gave me time to set up my dj booth and equipment as I played a few tropical tunes.  Jacqueline and Kevin had a quick intro to the dance floor then they went right in to their first dance which was Nothing Else Matters by Metallica.  They asked me to have all of the couples join them on the dance floor then everyone found their seats and prepared for a buffet style dinner.  Jacqueline's dad gave the blessing of the meals and the dinner section of the reception was in full swing.  I was provided with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, 90s and 2000s dance hits.  Great mix of genres for this very fun/energetic group of guests.  We did have a cake cutting ceremony (no garter/bouquet toss) as the evening progressed then I played Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam as the closing song.

Congrats to Jacqueline, Kevin and the entire Sodek family.
