Helena and Tyler Zimmerman celebrated their dream wedding at the Morikami Museums and Japanese Gardens in Delray, FL on 11/2/2019. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all held outdoors for this fun wedding. As approximately 100 close friends and family members arrived to the Morikami they were directed to the front of the lake for the ceremony. After a perfect ceremony they were all invited to the veranda for the cocktail hour. I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. The reception got under way with the grand entrance. Helena chose Easy Love by Sigala for her and Tyler's grand intro then they went straight into their first dance. They danced to How Long Will I love You by Ellie Goulding then Helena danced with her dad to Lullaby by Billy Joel and Tyler danced with his mom to Simple Man by Shinedown. Then in traditional Jewish fashion everyone gathered on the dance floor for the "Hora". What a great way to begin the festivities at the reception. All of the guests then found their seats and both dads and grandpa gave the blessing of the Challah. The toasts followed soon after by both maids of honor Daniella and Lauren and by both best men Corey and Noah. Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course dinner. Helena did provide me with a play list that included top 40, alternative, house music and hip-hop. After dinner the dance floor filled up quickly and the dancing fun continued into the night. The cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss were performed as the evening progressed along with a few requests for some of the newer group dances. The closing song for the evening was Young Forever by Jay-Z and Mr. Hudson as all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor with the happy couple. Congrats to Helena, Tyler and the entire Zimmerman, Desmond and Ehrlich families.
Special thanks to Alana and her amazing staff at the Morikami for always providing excellent service!
