On Saturday October 27th I had the pleasure to play for Areanna & Lisa wedding reception at the Morakami Japanase Museum. Close to 100 close friends and family joined them for their wedding celebration. As guest made their way into the beautifully decorated reception I played a mix of fun upbeat pop songs. Areanna and lisa wanted to keep it low key and fun with no introductions. Areanna and lisa shared a very special first dance to “I Won't Give Up” by Jason Mraz. Blessing of our meal was given by Rabbi Doug. Once salads was served speeches was given by the both maid of honors Alessandra and Stacey, Followed by each set of parents. During dinner I kept the music classic with artists such as Stan Geltz, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Dave Brubeck and many more. Once dinner concluded Lisa shared a special dance with her father Andy to “ What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong, Areanna shared a dance with her father Celso to “La Vida Es Un Carnaval” By Celia Cruz which set the mood for the whole party before the end of song everyone was invited to dance floor and the party got started, I played all the fun motown hits, funk, 80’s top 40’s and early 2000’s hits.
