Arlyn and Thomas Abraham celebrated their wedding at the Morikami Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, FL on 11/3/2024. This amazing wedding began with a ceremony overlooking the lake where approximately 100 guests witnessed the happy couple tie the knot. The cocktail hour took place at the upper veranda where all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I played a mix of Vitamin String Quartet favorites and also took the time to decorate the reception area with a 16x16 LED dance floor and 2 Sparktacular cold spark effects all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the reception area they found their seats and cheered loudly as the happy couple made their grand entrance. The first dance was to Moon River by Michael Buble then Jacob Williams gave the blessing of the meals. During the buffet style dinner, several family members and friends gave speeches and toasts. After dinner the dance floor opened up and it turned into an all-out dance party till the end. I played a mix of top 40, afrobeats, calypso, reggae, classic rock and disco. Perfect mix of genres for this very fun/upbeat group of guests. The dancing continued and we only took a quick break for the cake cutting (no garter/bouquet toss) and I also announced the dessert table and the chocolate fountain for all to enjoy. The last song for the evening was Closing Time by Semisonic and that ended a very fabulous Sunday night wedding. Congrats to Arlyn, Thomas and the entire Abraham family.
Special thanks to Alanna and her wonderful staff at the Morikami for always providing excellent service.
