Wedding Reception at the Morikami Museum

On Saturday, February 15th I was in Delray Beach Morikami Museum and Japanese Botanical Gardens for the wedding ceremony and reception of Kyle and Maria. The ceremony took place in front of the lake with the beautiful Japanese Botanical Garden and forest in the background. Guests began to arrive shortly before 6pm to watch the two exchange vows. The sun set behind the tall bamboo trees as the couple exchanged vows in a touching ceremony, with the bride gracefully walking down the aisle to the romantic sound of Clair De Lune by Claude Debussy and Alexis Weissenberg. After the ceremony, the newlyweds were hand-in-hand singing Walking on a Dream by Empire of the Sun as they celebrated back down the aisle. After the cocktail hour I asked that everyone find their seating arrangements before introducing the bride and groom. At the couples request, I placed an elegant monogram containing the names of the couple, projected just behind the sweetheart table, and a Mirror Me photo booth provided by Eddie B & Company. When it was time for introductions, I pumped up the crowd as we welcomed Kyle and Maria to Be Your Girl by Kaytranada. The couple immediately joined hands in the center of the dance floor as they embraced each other and enjoyed their first dance to Can’t Help Falling in Love by Haley Reinhart. Following the first dance of the newlyweds, I invited Maria's father, Paulo to join her on the dance floor to dance for their first dance to Coisinha Do Pai by Beth Carvalho. Kyle’s mother, Ellen then joined her son on the dance floor for the mother son dance to Through the Years by Kenny Rogers. After that it was a party for the rest of the night and everyone was dancing to my selection of indie pop, Samba and other party favorites. Congratulations Maria and Kyle!
