Wedding Reception at the Nautilus Hotel / Miami

Bridget and Paul Boothman celebrated their dream wedding at the Nautilus Hotel in S. Beach Miami, FL on 9/30/2023.  The weather that Saturday evening was perfect for an outdoor ceremony over-looking the Atlantic Ocean.  Approximately 90 close friends and family members witnessed a perfect ceremony then they were all invited to the cocktail hour at the lobby bar.  I played a mix of jazz house favorites while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  I also took the time to decorate the outdoor reception area with 20 LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As the guests entered the reception I lined up the 22 member bridal party for the grand entrance.    The parent's intro was to Celebration by Kool & The Gang, the bridesmaid's intro was to We Found Love by Rihanna, the groomsmen's intro was to The Boys Are Back In Town by This Lizzy then Bridget and Paul's intro song was to The Business by Tiesto.  The first dance was to Make You Feel My Love by Adele then Bridget danced with her dad to Forever Young by Rod Stewart and Paul danced with his Aunties to Band of Gold by Freda Payne which was his mom's favorite song...nice touch by Paul.  Mr. McAleer (FOB) and Mr. Boothman (FOG) gave the welcoming speeches then Michelle (MOH) and Bill (BM) gave the toasts.  The 1st of a 3 course meal was ready to be served and the reception was under way.  Bridget did provide me with a play list that included top 40, EDM, classic rock and 90s/2000s hip-hop.  Perfect mix of genres for this very energetic and (proud Eagles fans) group of guests.  The dance floor filled up very quickly after dinner then Bridget and Paul surprised everyone with the performance of 2 LED ROBOTS that are also provide by Eddie B & Company.  The cake cutting ceremony was performed as the evening progressed then everyone gathered on the dance floor for the last song of the evening.  Bridget chose Closing Time by Semisonic then one of the bride's Uncles asked me to play the Star Spangled Banner as the last, last song....PRICELESS!!!!
