Good day bloggers! DJ Cristian here at the Newman Alumni center in the University of Miami about to play for Dr. David and Emily's wedding! All the guests have arrived and the cocktail hour has begun. The cocktail hour wraps up and the time has come to introduce Dr. David and Emily to their guests. Dr. David and Emily were already married previously in New York so they decided to have a mini Ceremony for the family and friends that could not attend. Emily's brother Evan introduced and welcomed Dr. David and Emily in to the reception hall to when Im 64 by The Beatles. Evan then proceeded to conduct their ceremony. As soon as the ceremony concluded a glass was broken mazeltov was shouted by all the guests and I played the Hora! Everyone flooded the dance floor joined in a large circle and danced round and round until the end of the song. It was a lot of fun! After the Hora I played some dance music as the food was being served. Some people danced and some made their way to the buffet. I played music straight from the list given to me by Emily. The list consisted of music from as far back as the 70's and some recent music as well. After the guests were done eating I invited David and Emily to the dance floor for their first dance. They chose I Will by Christopher Cross and Frances Ruffelle. After about a minute I asked all the guests to join in. After the song ended I played some more dance music for about 20 minutes then I invited Dr. David and Emily's parents up so they can give their speeches while a slide show was played of their wedding in New York. After the speeches and slide show I played How Sweet It Is by James Taylor for Dr. David and Emily to dance with their parents for the father/daughter and mother/son dance. I also invited the rest of the guests up per request to dance as well. Now that the dances were done it was time to get back to the party. At this time most of the guests were leaving or had already left so I took some requests from the remaining guests and kept the party going until 11:30. It was a pleasure to play for Dr. David and Emily's wedding. I had a great time they were all such great people. I wish you two all the best and may God bless! Till next time bloggers this is DJ Cristian signing off!
