Wedding & Reception at the Ocean Oasis Resort / Islamorada

Chelsea and Tyler Knabb celebrated their wedding at the Ocean Oasis Resort in Islamorada Key, FL on 10/30/2022.  This wedding had it all!! The ceremony was held beach-side where approximately 70 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple make it official with a big kiss.  The cocktail hour was held by the pool/tiki bar area and as they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers I played a mix of tropical tunes.  The intros and dances where held by the dj booth/dance floor area.  I lined up the 24 member bridal party for the intros while all of the guests made a big circle on the dance floor.  Chelsea chose Pump It Up and Big/Energy Remix for the bridal party intros and Good Life by Kanye for her and Tyler's intro.  The first dance was to Lifetime by J. Beiber then Chelsea danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland and Tyler danced with his mom to He Gets It From Me by Reba McIntyre.  The toasts were given by Marissa (maid of honor) and Jordan (best man) then everyone made their way to the reception area for a station style dinner.  During dinner I played a mix of easy listening/jazz favorites then I pumped it up a bit after the meals.  Chelsea provided me with a great play list that included top 40, dance hits, country and EDM.  The energy on the dance floor was contagious and I also took a few requests for group dances and for couples dances.  There was no garter/bouquet toss and the cake cutting was performed by the dance floor area.  Chelsea surprised everyone with a sweets table for all to enjoy.  The closing song for the evening was Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks and that put a bow on an amazing keys wedding.
