Wedding Reception at The Ocean Reef Club / Key Largo
On Saturday evening October 10 in Key Largo at the Ocean Reef Club, is where myself along with a band, worked together to create an awesome wedding day. The band played for the ceremony overlooking the ocean as I followed them by playing Reggae, Steel Drum and Island music for the cocktail hour around the pool area which had unforgettable scenery.
Once cocktail hour concluded, the guests were invited into the main room highlighted with Royal Blue LED up lights from Eddie B & Company set up by yours truly, and made the room look awesome. I lined up the parents and the bridal party and introduced them to I Don't Like it, but I Love it by Flo Rida and then Paul and Amy danced into Blurred Lines as the young crowd screamed and cheered for them. It was a great intro!!!! The band had played the first dance.
Following was the toasts and then main course was served as the band played the background music and then some dance songs.
Once Paul and Amy were ready, I introduced them again as they danced with there parents to Brown Eyed Girl and Teach Your Children and then prepared for the cake cutting to All of Me by John Legend and then the bouquet toss to Trumpets by Jason Derulo.
Then the young crowd really partied as I played top 40 dance music along with Hip Hop and line dances to include Nae Nae, The Wobble, Crank That by Soldier Boy and then I went on the floor and did the Cupid Shuffle with them. They requested many songs as I played them accordingly.
Don't Stop Believing was the closing song as all gathered on the dance floor and sang with Paul and Amy. I then had them all cheer one last time for the happy couple as they all proceeded outside for a sparkler send off. The party was a hit as always with DJ Marc Evans of Eddie B & Company as I worked in sync with the band which is what the bride asked me to do.....
