Wedding & Reception at the Old Grove Barn / Miami

Nicole and Deon Graham celebrated their wedding at the Old Grove Barn in Miami, FL on 12/12/2015.  This was another amazing wedding that began with a beautiful outdoor ceremony on the venue property.  Nicole and Deon's pledge to each other was witnessed by approximately 120 close friends and family members.  After they sealed their love with a big kiss all of the guests cheered loudly for the happy couple.  All of the guests were then invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers while Nicole and Deon posed for pictures.  I played a mix of tropical tunes and took the time to decorate the reception area with a monogram on the dance floor of Nicole and Deon's name with the wedding date.  After the cocktail hour all of the guests were invited to the reception for the grand entrance.  Nicole chose Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars for the bridal party entrance and Can't Feel My Face by The Weekend for her and Deon's entrance.  The first dance was to All OF Me by John Legend then Nicole danced with her dad to Hero by Mariah Carey and Deon danced with his mom to A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men.  All of the guests found their seats then Ashley (maid of honor), Summer (matron of honor) and Duane (best man) gave the toasts before the meals.  Deon provided me with a play list that included top 40, classic r&b, 90's hip-hop and reggae.  Perfect mix of genres for this group.  After dinner the dance floor filled up and it remained that way for most of the evening. This group was very energetic and were very happy for Nicole and Deon.  I did get requests for some of the group dances as the night progressed.  Nicole and Deon surprised everyone with a performance by 3 carnivale dancers who entertained the crowd for approximately 40 minutes.  Very exciting stuff!!!!  We did perform the cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss towards the end but the dance floor was the place to be.  As the night came to a close I played Don't Stop Believing by Journey and that but a bow on a fabulous evening. Congrats to Nicole, Deon and the entire Graham and Brown families.  I will remember this wedding for many years to come!!
