Saturday evening December 6th at the Delray Old School Squareis where the reception for Amy and Scott Crelin was held.
As I lined up the bridal party and the parents to be introduced with Amy and Scott, they all danced there way into the main room to Still in to You by Paramore. Amy and Scott proceeded to do the first dance to Sleeping at Last by Turning Page. Then Amy danced with her dad to I Loved Her First followed by Scott dancing with his mom and stepmom to Simple Man by Shinedown and You'll Be In my Heart by Phil Collins.
The food stations were opened as I played a few sing-a-longs as they waited online. Sweet Caroline, Drift Away, Sweet Home Alabama and many other like That's Amore.
During dinner soft swing was requested by Amy such as Frank, Dean, Nat King Cole and Billy Joel.
Following dinner the toasts were given by the Maids of honor and the best man. The cake was cut to How Sweet it Is by James Taylor and the taking off of the garter to Pony, Genuine. Instead of throwing the bouquet to the singles ladies, Amy decided to give it to the couple that was married the longest, her grandparents as they danced to Endless Love by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross.
Then Amy and Scott danced all night with all the guests as I played all the lines dances....Cupid Shuffle, Electric Slide, CottonEye Joe, Redneck Girl and The Cha Cha Slide. Music from the 60's all the way to today's music was great as everyone danced to all Genres.
Both Amy and Scott approached me and were very pleased as to how I changed the music so that both the younger crowd danced and then the older crowd heard there songs and partied all night also.
