Wedding & Reception at the Opal Grand

Ashley and Julio Curro celebrated their dream wedding at the Opal Grand Resort in Delray Beach, FL on 7/16/2021.  This amazing wedding began with an indoor ceremony where approximately 100 close friends and family witnessed the happy couple tie the knot.  All of the guests were then invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers while I played a mix of tropical tunes.  I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless, up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 10 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Ashley chose Get The Party Started by Pink for the bridal party intros and Turn Down For What by Lil Jon for her and Julio's intro.  The first dance was to You Are The Reason by Calum Scott then Ashley danced with her dad to My Wish and Julio danced with his mom to You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins.  The toasts were given by Nicole (maid of honor) and Sergio (best man) then Ashley's dad Mr. Roberts gave the welcoming speech.  All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course dinner.  Ashley did provide me with a play list that included top 40, latin favorites, country hits and Motown. Great mix of genres for these very upbeat/energetic group of guests.  The dance floor was hopin' all night and I did take some requests for the group dances and couples dances.  The cake cutting ceremony and garter/bouquet toss were preformed as the evening progressed but the dance floor was the place to be.  The closing song for the evening was All My Life by K-Ci and JoJo and that put a bow on a great Friday night wedding.
