Laura & Luis Vasquez celebrated their wedding at the Palms Hotel in Miami, FL on 9/6/2019. The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximate 40 guest were invited to the hotel for the cocktail hour and the reception. Myself and Chris set-up the DJ and Photo Booth areas before everyone arrived. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the bride and groom for the grand entrance. They entered to No Other Love by Common Kings then they had their first dance to Say You Won't Let Go by James Arthur. Laura then danced with her dad to The Things We Handed Down by Mark Cohn and Luis danced with his mom to Amor De Madre by Victor Manuelle. The toasts were given by Teresa (mother of the bride) and Karla (mother of the groom) then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course dinner. Laura did provide me with a play list that included top 40, rancheros, Banda, classic rock and 80s and 90s dance hits. Great mix of genres for this fun Mexican/American group of guests. There was no garter/bouquet toss but they did take the time to cut their beautiful wedding cake. As the evening progressed everyone enjoyed the photo booth and really packed the dance floor. The closing song for the evening was Marry You by Bruno Mars as all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor with the happy couple for a nice send-off. Congrats to Laura, Luis and the entire Vasquez and Brotcher families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Palms for always providing excellent service.
