Wedding Reception at The Palms Hotel / Miami Beach

On Sunday, February 5th I was in Miami, FL at The Palms Hotel and Spa for the wedding reception of Cristina and Emily. The reception area was held in the Queen Palm ballroom adjacent to the veranda, complete with white linens and 20 LED up lights set to blush, provided by Eddie B & Company. When it was time for introductions, I invited everyone to stand in a large circle as we all welcomed the Lugos to Dancing Feet by Kygo. Cristina and Emily then embraced each other for their first dance to Feels Like Home by Chantal Kreviazuk. After the first dance I invited Emily’s father to join his daughter for their father daughter dance to My Girl by The Temptations, followed by Emily and her father for their dance to De Niña a Mujer by Julio Iglesias. During dinner, I played a some Salsa and easy listening music while the guests enjoyed their meal. After dinner, the newlyweds cut their lavish wedding cake to Do You Believe in Magic by The Lovin’ Spoonful. The rest of the night was a party with a mix of latin, house, hip hop, and current dance music favorites for all the guests to enjoy.
