DJ Cristian here at the beautiful Palms Hotel on Miami Beach, Florida. Its March 27th and I’m about to get the reception started for Tara and Greggs Wedding! All the guests are seated and I’m ready to line up the bridal party and get the introductions started! First up is the bridal party consisting of the brides parents, grooms men, brides maids, flower girls, ring bearers and the maid of honor and best man. Everyone is loose and having a great time, so I loosen them up a bit more and coach them on where to go once in the reception hall. Once they are all set and in line I coach the Tara and Gregg and now we are ready to rock! The bridal party is introduced to Bruno Mars- Marry Me followed by Tara and Gregg entering to Coldplay- Adventure of a Lifetime. They chose David Gray- This Life’s Love, as their first dance. Now it is time for Tara to dance with her father but for their song Tara’s sister and Mother decided to sing Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole’s Unforgettable. I have to say they did a great job! They both had beautiful singing voices. After this dance everyone took their seats and the salads were served. The toasts were given and soon there after a thank you from Tara and Gregg to all. As dinner concluded desert was served followed shortly by the cutting of the cake. Samba dancers were hired for a 25 min set so they came in right after the cake cutting and got the place up and dancing. They did a great job! Once they were done it was my turn to get them going so I played straight from Tara’s song list with my own selections here and there. The party was jumping and then the time came for the bouquet toss. So I got all the single ladies on the dance floor and played Selena Gomez Come and Get It. Then I had Tara let it go! Then I mixed the song to Daft Punk’s Get Lucky. Now the time came to continue the party and get everyone up and dancing. Again I refer to Tara’s song list which went through all genres of music imaginable from Salsa to Classic Rock. It was a lot of fun! Tara and Gregg are outstanding individuals and their families are equally outstanding. I had a great time playing for them on their special day and I wish them the best! God bless, DJ Cristian.
