Emily and Billy Bass celebrated their wedding at the Pavilion Grille in Boca Raton, FL on 7/25/2014. The ceremony took place at a nearby church were approximately 160 guests witnessed the happy couple tie the knot, then were invited to the Pavilion for the cocktail hour and reception. During cocktail hour I played a mix of mid-tempo smooth jazz while everyone enjoyed drinks and appetizers. As all of the guests were directed to the reception area I lined up the 21 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Emily chose Good Vibrations by Marky Mark for the bridal party entrance and It Takes Two by Rob Base for her and Billy's intro. The first dance was to Free by Zac Brown Band then Emily danced with her dad to Don't Wanna Miss A Thing by Aerosmith and Billy danced with his mom to Never Alone by Lady Antebellum. The toasts were given by Hannah and Lindsey (maids of honor) and Michael and Warren (best men). Pastor Faircloth gave the blessing before the meal then the buffet opened up for all to enjoy. Emily and Billy did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, oldies, 70's and 80's dance hits and r&b. At one point it seemed like all 160 guests were on the dance floor. I love energetic/fun crowds and this group was definitely one of them. We did pause to have the cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss and then it was back to the dance floor until the closing song. The 2 last songs for the evening were The Time by The Black Eyed Peas and New York, New York by Frank Sinatra. Perfect way to end a great night!! Congrats to Emily, Billy and the entire Falstad and Bass families. This wedding was my first at the Pavilion Grille and I am sure it won't be my last. Had a blast!!!
