On Oct.08,2011 I played at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale over looking the ocean. It was a windy rainy day but Ricardo and Christy D'Errico wasn't going to let it rain on their parade. The ceremony took place ocean side under a tent while "Master Musicians" violinists provided the music. For the cocktail reception Eddie B & Company provided steel drummer "Brian Henry" played tropical songs. As guests entered the resort for the reception I kept the island music playing for all until the introduction. The newlyweds were introduced and went into their first dance...classic heavy metal group.... Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters".Right after,Christy danced with her father to "I loved Her First" by Heartland.....Then Ricardo danced with his mom to a Beatles classic " In My Life" played by Dave Mathews (Live) from a John Lennon Tribute. A mix of classic rock...rat pack classics... and country was the choice for dinner. The toast took place during the salad course from the brother of the groom/best man Mike D'Errico. It was party time after dinner and dance they did...Chili Peppers....Zac Brown ...Adele...Katy Perry...Black Eyed Peas many more and a few Latin songs had this festive group dancing until the end...Great job as always to the staff at the resort for making this day a special one for all. Michelle Lawson Photography captured all the great moments.....Best Wishes to Ricardo & Christy D'Errico....Thanxs Roberto (D.J./M.C Rob)
