Wedding Reception at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort

Briana and Joey Cowen celebrated their wedding at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 8/17/2019.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximate 100 guests were invited to the Pelican for the cocktail hour and reception.  Before the guests arrived I decorated the ballroom with 24 royal blue, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  For the grand entrance Briana chose In My Feelings by Drake for her, Joey and the entire bridal party.  The first dance was to Before I Let Go by Frankie Beverly and Maze then everyone found their seats for a buffet style dinner.  The toasts were given by Aunt Angela and Grandma Lorraine along with the blessing of the meal.  Briana did provide me with a great play list that included top 40, hip-hop and r&b classics and latin favorites.  Nice mix of genres for this fun/energetic group of guests that packed the dance floor all night.  As the evening progressed we did have a cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss.  The closing song for the evening was Don't Stop Believing by Journey as all of the guests gathered on the dance floor with the happy couple.  Congrats to Briana, Joey and the entire Cowen, Reese and Hutchinson families.
