Wedding & Reception at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort

Mitchell and Evie's wedding was held at the beautiful Pelican Grand Beach Resort on Ft. Lauderdale beach on Saturday, September 21st. The bridal party arrived early to take some pictures with the photographer by the water before the sun went down. The ceremony was held in the Atlantic ballroom overlooking the calm and crystal clear Atlantic ocean. Guests began to arrive shortly after 5pm to watch Evie and Mitchell exchange vows. The bridal party and bride walked down to A Thousand Years played by Eddie B’s saxophonist, Stuey Blue. The rabbi proceeded with the ceremony and ended with a prayer before announcing the couple as husband and wife. The new Mr. and Mrs. Stern chose Good Vibrations by Beach Boys as their recessional song before leading the the bridal party and all their guests around the bar area for the cocktail hour. After the cocktail hour, the guests were invited up to the 11th floor grand ballroom to find their seats before I introduced the bridal party and the new Mr. and Mrs. Stern. Eddie B & Company provided LED up lights, LED dance floor lights and the "Tumbling Dice", a awesome new lighting effect. At the couples request, the room was illuminated with beautiful light pink uplighting to match the bridesmaid dresses and centerpieces. The newlyweds walked in to Turn Down for What by Lil Jon and immediately joined hands in the center of the dance floor as they embraced each other and enjoyed their first dance. Following the first dance of the newlyweds, I invited Mitchell’s father to join Evie for the father daughter dance in memory of her father to What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong, concluding in a huge applause from all their guests. After that it was a party for the rest of the night and everyone was dancing to my selection of reggae and dance party favorites. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Stern.
