Saturday Evening June 10th with DJ Marc Evans of Eddie B & Company, at The Pelican Grand in Ft. Lauderdale is where the ceremony, cocktails and reception were held on the top floor overlooking all of South Florida and the Atlantic Ocean. As the guests made it to the 12th floor I played as requested some Frank, Dean and many more of the swing genre.
Alan and the bridal party walked down the aisle to Ruelle, I Get To Love You. Kelly walked down the aisle to The traditional Bridal March. Once pronounced husband and wife, I'm Yours by Jason Mraz as I played it loud for the brand new Mr. and Mrs. Anderson.
Cocktail hour was on the same floor the 12th as I played swing and some reggae.
Once cocktail hour concluded, the guests entered into the main room lit in Royal Blue LED up lights on the 11th floor as I proceeded to line up Alan and Kelly and I introduced them to Barry White, My First, My Last, My Everything. The first dance was by The Rascal Flatts. Bless The Broken Road. Following the first dance Alan and Kelly cut the cake to Sugar Pie.
The Toasts were made and then the food stations were open.
Once dinner was over, the dancing began as I packed the dance floor with Motown and top 40 dance music. Alan and Kelly danced all night with friends and family. The last songs of the evening were, Friends in Low Places and The Last Dance. Kelly approached me and thanked me for an unbelievable night with family and friends. She was thankful that I was able to get the small crowd on the dance floor and she was thankful that I helped her daughter prepare to play her guitar and sing. Another great wedding celebrated wth the bride and groom with DJ Marc Evans.
