Wedding Reception at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort

Chelsea and Scott Heasman celebrated their dream wedding at the Pelican Grand Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 4/5/2024.  This fun wedding began with an outdoor ceremony on the 12th floor over-looking the Atlantic Ocean.  The cocktail hour was also held on the same floor and that is where our very own Stewy Blue provided the live, smooth jazz saxophone sounds for all to enjoy.  After the cocktail hour and family pictures, all of  the guests were invited to the 11th floor for the reception.  I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests found their seats, I lined up the 15 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Chelsea chose This Girl by Kungs for the bridal party intros and Sky Full Of Stars by Coldplay for her and Scott's intro.  The first dance was to Lover by Taylor Swift then Chelsea danced with her dad to The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra and Scott danced with his mom to Perfect Fan by The Backstreet Boys.  The toasts were given by Paul (BM) and Lydia (MOH) then everyone prepared for a 3 course meal.  After dinner the dance floor opened up and it became a full out celebration.  I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, disco and Motown which was perfect for this fun group of guests.  They only took break in the action for the cake cutting ceremony.  Chelsea and Scott also surprised everyone with a late night snack buffet for all to enjoy.  The closing song for the evening was my all-time favorite New York, New York by Frank Sinatra as all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor...PRICELESS!!
