Wedding Reception at the Plantation Preserve Golf Club

On 1/15/2012 Alba and Baldwin Britton were married at the Plantation Preserve in Plantation FL on a beautiful Sunday late afternoon.  The ceremony was held on the golf course with a beautiful scenic background of the sunset.  The cocktail hour was also outdoors and the guests enjoyed a mix of tropical songs as requested by Alba and Baldwin.  All of the guests except for the bridal party were directed into the main ballroom to get ready for the grand entrance.  As I lined up all 26 members of the bridal party the guests in the main ballroom were getting energized.  The bridal party was introduced and then everyone rose to their feet as I introduced Alba and Baldwin.  What a great reception they received from their loving family and friends.  Alba surprised Baldwin and all of the guests by singing the first dance to Baldwin while dancing with him.  The song was Hasta Mi Final by Il Divo the karaoke version.  Alba has a beautiful singing voice!!! Baldwin's father Walter and Alba's father Mario made 2 awesome speeches and welcomed each into their families.  Alba's mother Nilda gave a nice prayer before the meal then Alba and Baldwin thanked everyone for spending time with them on their special day.  Since Alba and her family are from Honduras and Baldwin's family is from Colombia this wedding was 90% latin including the music and grand entrance.  They are also Christians so Alba provided me with a great list of soft music for dinner and for the couples who want to dance.  The 80 or so guests sat to eat a buffet style dinner and enjoy the soft and romantic music mix.  After dinner it was time for Alba's surprise.  Baldwin put together a nice photo montage on a screen then he finally revealed to Alba and the family where he was taking her for their honeymoon.  He turned the photo montage on again and there it was a picture of the Island of Tahiti.  Everyone especially Alba were stunned!!!  That was a great surprise put together by Baldwin.  By this time there was an hour left in the party and they danced a bit and took more family pictures.  The last song for the evening was Last Dance by Donna Summer and everyone on the dance floor gave Alba and Baldwin a big group hug.  Great wedding by 2 great families the Britton's and the Suazo's.  Congrats to Alba and Baldwin!!
