On Friday December 7th, 2012 I was at the Post Card Inn / Holiday Isle in Islamorada for Kim and Michael Whalen and seventy family members and friends. I provided music for the reception only. The evneing started with an introduction of the bridal party (all the B & G's children), to "Gangnam Style", and then it was "Marry You" by Bruno Mars for Kim and Michael. The first dance was "The Way You Look Tonight" by ole blue eyes, Frank Sinatra. The second song I dedicated to Kim and her father Wally, it was another classic from Frankie, "All The Way". The toasts were given by their children, and I must say they were heart felt and very well presented. Tori, Michaels daughter also surprised everyone with a photo montage of the newlyweds, with music to "Sweet Caroline". This was the highlight of the evening along with Kim's dedication in memory of her grandfather. The music was a mix of Classic Rock, Disco, Country, and a few of todays popular songs. I also included the "Cupid Shuffle" and the "Cha Cha Slide" for all the line dancers. The cake was cut to "That's Amore" and the final 2 songs I played were "Friends In Low Places" and "New York New York". I want to thank Kate Bentley (an event/wedding planner out of Key West), for all of her help and assistance. Thank you Kim and Michael I always enjoy a fun wedding in the Keys!......DJ/MC Eddie B!
