On Saturday, April 26th I was in Plantation at the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale West hotel for the wedding reception of Gina and Bryan. Cocktail was held on the terrace just outside the main ballroom. The reception room was brought to life by amber LED up lighting, an open air photo booth, and a gobo monogram with the couple’s initials shining on the dance floor, provided by Eddie B & Company. When it was time for introductions I invited everyone to stand with their napkins overhead as the bridal party paraded in with buckets of Fireball shots to pass around to all 180 guests as we welcomed Mr. and Mrs. Castillo to Shots by LMFAO. The couple then embraced each other for their first dance to My Best Friend by Tim McGraw. I then invited Gina to dance with her father to Yours by Post Malone before inviting Bryan’s mother to dance with her son to Can she Have this Dance by Drew Baldridge. After a few speeches and a cake cutting, the guests were invited back out to the dance floor and we celebrated with the newlyweds to some 2000s hip hop, reggaeton and EDM. Once the guests were on the floor they did not want to leave. Thank you Gina and Bryan for allowing me to be a part of your special day. You were an awesome crowd and it was an absolute pleasure partying with you and your family. Best of luck to you - DJ ELOW
