Wedding & Reception at the Riverside Hotel

On Saturday May 18th I had the pleasure to play for Victor and Amanda’s wedding at the beautiful Riverside Hotel. Approximately 95 close family members and friends joined them for their celebration. Ceremony took place in the courtyard by the New River under a beautiful blue sky. Victor being a Marine, had six marines marched down the aisle to receive the bridal party and Victor and Amanda. The bridal party walked down the aisle to “Something There” By Robby Benson, Followed by Amanda to “Beauty And The Beast” theme song. Once pronounced husband and wife they walked out to “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah” Instrumental. Cocktail hour took place on the upper terrace. I played a mix of Jason Mraz, Dave Matthews, John Legend and many more artists. The main ballroom was highlighted with Royal Blue LED up lights throughout the room provided by Eddie B & Company along with our LED dance floor lights. Bridal party introduction was to “Conga” by Gloria Estefan, Victor and Amanda's intro was to “Miami” by Will Smith, followed by their special first dance to “Stay” by Thirty Seconds To Mars. Amanda and her father shared a special dance to “Lullaby” by Billy Joel, Victor shared a special dance with his mother to “Amor De Madre” By Victor Manuelle. Amanda’s father Brian gave a welcome speech. Toasts were given by maid of honor Brook and best man Gustavo, the prayer was given by Pastor Anne. During dinner I played a mix of rat pack and classic tunes. Cake cutting was to “ Pick Up The Pieces” by Average White Band, followed by bouquet toss to “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None The Richer. Dance floor was opened to the best of Joe Arroyo salsa, from there on I played all the top 40’s,80 , 90s, Merengue, Salsa and Vallenatos hits. Last song of the evening was to “Mary Jane’s Last Dance” by Tom Petty.
