Wedding & Reception at the Riverside Hotel

Erica and Greg Mueller celebrated their wedding at the Riverside Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 3/26/2023.  Approximately 80 close friends and family members arrived to the Riverside that Saturday night and they were all directed to the New River courtyard for the ceremony.  The cocktail hour and reception were located on the 8th floor.  That is where I played a mix of smooth jazz while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom they found their seats and prepared for the grand entrance.  Erica chose I'm A Believer by Smashmouth for her and Greg's intro then they danced to Cigarettes and Coffee by Otis Redding as their first dance.  Greg then danced with his mom to The Man You've Become by Molly Pasutti and the reception was in full swing.  The toasts were given by Lauren (MOH) and Chris (BM) then the first of a 3 course meal was served.  Erica did provide me with a play list that included top 40, 90s and 2000s hip-hop and country classics.  Amazing energy all night from this very fun group of guests.  We did have a cake cutting ceremony (no garter/bouquet toss) as the evening progressed and I also took requests for group dances.  The closing song for the evening was The Time by The Black Eyed Peas and that put a bow on a fantastic Thursday night Riverside wedding....PRICELESS!!
