On February 22nd, Alexandra and Carly’s love story began a new chapter against the beautiful scenic backdrop of the Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal. After a heartfelt ceremony on the patio, friends and family made their way to Riverside Hotel for an unforgettable celebration.
The evening started with a cocktail hour out on the terrace, where guests enjoyed the city breezes and live musician just outside the ballroom. As the sun set, we moved the party indoors to a reception room transformed by 20 wireless LED up lights (provided by Eddie B & Company), casting a romantic blush glow over the Himmarshee Ballroom. For entertainment outside the ballroom, the foyer was complete with a mobile photo booth (provided by Eddie B & Company) for guests to take photos in between dancing.
The energy kicked up a notch as the newlyweds made their grand entrance hand-in-hand singing YA YA by Beyoncé. They then slowed things down for their first dance to Beyond by Leon Bridges. Special family moments followed, with Alexandra dancing with her father to Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle, and Carly joining her father for their father and daughter dance to Your Song by Elton John. We then invited Alex and Carly’s mothers up to dance with their daughters for a touching dance to I am Woman by Helen Reddy before inviting Carly’s grandmother and all the guests to join the newlyweds.
After toasts Alex and Carly surprised everyone to an incredible performance singing Make You Feel my Love by Adele. Soon after, the dance floor opened and filled almost instantly. It was a night of joy, great music, and celebration. Congratulations, Alex and Carly—wishing you both the best of luck! — DJ ELOW
