Saturday evening January 22nd at The Riverside Hotel is where Joey and Natalie were joined by family and friends to celebrate a new beginning. The ceremony was at the local church and following services, everyone gathered at The Riverside Hotel for cocktails and reception.
During cocktail hour the couple asked for Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, The Coles and many more from the Rat Pack era.
Following cocktail hour I lined up the bridal party and introduced them to Music Sounds Better by Stardust. Joey and Natalie were introduced to Jay Zs Public Service announcement. The first dance was from Sam Smith, Latch. The the daughter of Joey joined them to My Girl. Natalie danced with her dad to It's A Great Day to Be Alive. Joey danced with his mom to You've Got A Friend.
During the main course, I played music that was requested by Joey and Natalie to include songs from Joss Stone, Leon Bridges,Van Morrison, Zac Brown Band and many other artists that had slow songs for the couples to gather on the dance floor and get close while the courses were being served.
Following the main course, the party got rocking as they danced to hits from the 90's and 2000's and todays top 40. From Pitbulls dance songs from Fireball to Don't Stop the party. The dancing party also loved to dance Salsa and Merengue and even the Cupid Shuffle and the Wobble.
The cake cutting was done to The Archies, Sugar Sugar and the bouquet was given to the couple that was married the longest as I did and elimination dance song to Sam Cookes, You Send Me.
At the conclusion of the event, Joe and Natalie approached me and informed me that they were very pleased with the selection of music and the interaction I had done with there friends and family. The closing song was Islands in the Stream by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.
