Monica and Frank Geiser celebrated their wedding at the Riverside Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 3/18/2023. Approximately 100 close friends and family members arrived to the Riverside and were directed to the New River courtyard for the ceremony. After the happy couple tied the knot everyone was invited to the 8th floor for the cocktail hour and reception. During the cocktail hour I played a mix of Smooth Jazz tunes and I also decorated the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 15 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Monica chose Run The World by Beyonce for the bridesmaids, Dirt Off Your Shoulder by Jay Z for the groomsmen and La Gozadera by Gente De Zona for her and Frank's intro. The first dance was to Firestone by Kygo then Monica danced with her dad to Stand By Me by Ben E. King and Frank danced with his mom to Simple Man by Shinedown. The toasts were given by FOG, Amanda (groom's sister), MOB and Michael (bride's brother) then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. Monica did provide me with a play list that included top 40, latin favorites, 90s and 2000s dance hits. Great mix of genres for this very fun group of guests. There was no cake cutting ceremony or garter/bouquet toss but the dance floor was packed all night. I took plenty of requests for some of the older group dances and for Motown hits. The closing song for the evening was Save The Last Dance For Me by M. Buble and that put a bow on a fabulous Saturday night Riverside wedding.
Congrats to Monica, Frank and the entire Geiser and Gonzalez families.
Special thanks to the management and staff at the Riverside for always providing 5 star service.
