Wedding Reception at the Rubell Family Collection / Miami
On Saturday, November 8th, 2014 I was at the Rubell Family Collection Gallery in Miami. Wow! was this venue unique! Very different and awesome! Eddie B & Company provided Amber LED up lighting and LED dance floor lighting. I played for Kate Rosenberg and Adam Kron and 175 friends and family members. Live music was provided for the ceremony & cocktail hour, I started by introducing the bridal party to "I Can't Turn You Loose" by Otis Redding and then Kate & Adam to "Stay With You" by John Legend. The first dance was to "If I Needed You" by Andrew Bird. Then I mixed into the traditional Hora and the place exploded with energy! Next up was dinner (served by Bill Hansen caterers), and then 2 heart felt toasts by the M.O.H. and B.M. Kate danced with her father to "The Way You Look Tonight" by Maroon 5, and Adam danced with his mother to "Loves Me Like A Rock", by Paul Simon. The cake was cut to "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and everyone sang Happy Birthday to Linda (mother of the bride). Then it was party city and a packed dance floor until I played the last song as requested "Ignition" R. Kelly. What a festive group of party people I had the pleasure playing for. They danced mostly to todays Top 40 club hits with a mix of 80's music. Great party and congrats once again to Trisha & Adam! DJ/MC Eddie B!
