Andrea and Mick LoVerde celebrated their dream wedding at the Rusty Pelican Marina in Miami, FL on 5/28/2023. As all of the 100 guests arrived to the venue they were directed to the outdoor ceremony on the terrace over-looking Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline. The ceremony was perfect then everyone was invited to the lobby area for the cocktail hour. I played a mix of Latin Jazz favorites while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 14 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Andrea chose Pepas by Farruko for the bridal party intros and Casate Conmigo by Silvestre for her and Mick's intro. The first dance was to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran then Andrea danced with her dad to Forever Young by Rod Stewart and Mick danced with his mom to Forever Now by Michael Buble. The toasts were given by Alex (MOH) and Ben and David (BM) then Nadine gave the blessing of the meals and the reception was under way. Andrea did provide me with a play list that included top 40, Latin favorites, 90s and 2000s hip-hop and boleros. Perfect mix of genres for this fun group of guests. The cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss were performed as the evening progressed along with a few requests for more bachata. The closing song for the evening was Glad You Came by The Wanted and that put a bow on a fabulous Sunday night Miami wedding.
Congrats to Andrea, Mick and the entire LoVerde and Martinez families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Rusty Pelican for always providing 5 star service.
