Lauren and Zach Ross celebrated their wedding at the Rusty Pelican in Miami, FL on 4/10/2026. The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the 150 guests were invited to the venue for the cocktail hour and reception. I decorated the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights, while our very own Brian Henry provided the live steel drum sounds at the cocktail hour. As all of the guests found their seats at the reception, I got Lauren and Zach prepared for their intro. They entered the ballroom to Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes by Edison Lighthouse then they danced to Polka Dots and Moonbeams by Frank Sinatra. Lauren then danced with her dad to Fathers and Daughters by Paul Simon and Zach danced with his mom to Thought You Should Know by Morgan Wallen. Lauren's dad Mr. Sanchez gave the blessing of the meals then during dinner the toasts were given by Veronica (MOH), Erica (MOH) and Nick (BM). The dance floor filled up very quickly after dinner. I played a mix of top 40, 90s and 2000s hip-hop and dance hits that had everyone energized. As the evening progressed Lauren and Zach had a private cake cutting and a bouquet toss (no garter). The final song for the evening was Dial Drunk by Post Malone then as everyone exited the ballroom, Lauren and Zach had a last private dance to 1+1 by Maluma...PRICELESS!!!
Congrats to Lauren, Zach and the entire Ross and Sanchez families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Rusty Pelican for always providing excellent service.
